The benefits of going forward with a focused mind set are tremendously beneficial. Allow yourself to go through the process as patiently as possible but with consistency and steadfastness, one day at a time. Abraham Lincoln said, “The best thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time.”
Developing a successful thought process by building your confidence as you decide what to do next will be rewarding. Harness the power within, knowing that there is a world full of opportunities. How life will turn out for you is created first in your mind, followed by the actions you take toward making it happen. The desire to succeed is not a guarantee to becoming successful. Choices, not circumstances, determine whether or not you succeed.
Chapter 8
If you are passionate about what you do, no obstacle is strong enough to stop you. Although you may start with a seemingly insignificant business idea, as you diligently work at it, it has every potential to expose you to possibilities you would otherwise never have known. The experiences and skills gained boost your confidence to take on daring opportunities that may have seemed daunting when you took the first step. Other business streams could grow from the initial opportunity.
This chapter lists businesses that you can start on a part-time or full-time basis. If you are unemployed or already employed and passionate about a business idea or entertaining the thought of business ownership, you can begin on a part-time basis and as your business grows, make enough to pay yourself and expand to full-time involvement. We challenge you to not limit yourself to the list. You could be the next person to innovate a new concept or product that revolutionizes society.
Chapter 12
To start a business and succeed is possible, doable and achievable. It is as simple as that. However, between starting and becoming successful, you need to skilfully make the right decisions and work smart, employing the right tools and resources. We despise poverty and believe in creating wealth by tapping into your passion, experience, skills, creativity and opportune market conditions.
Whatever you do, “Never forget that money is stored energy that allows us freedom to do what we want with our lives,” said Allan Roth.
Now is the time for action. Make up your mind that there is no time to sit and do nothing. The time has come to channel your passion to identify the opportunities on which you can capitalize. With the time-tested business principles shared in this book, you can start smart and be ahead of the game from the onset. Do the right thing, in the right way at the right time, and you will reap the right results on your way to a successful future.
