A Farmer's Seed by J.M. Lominy

A Farmer's Seed by J.M. Lominy

A farmer awoke startled and nearly choked.

The clock had struck twelve.

He came out of his bed not wanting to dwell.

Lead by the shinning light of the moon.

He went into the night with a shovel in hand.

He walked on to his land.

All year he waited for this very moment in time.

Digging with excitement for his seed was just ripe.

What he dug up no one could have guest.

And when he was done.

Out came a blossom of LOVE.

It was Valentine day.
