Repent Biblically
To Repent Biblically is a person who changes his or her attitude and behavior
"And saying, Repent (think differently; change your mind, regretting your sins and changing your conduct), for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" (Matthew 3:2 amp).
You cannot continue to say I am sorry Lord while still doing the same things that are not pleasing to Him. True repentance results in a changed life with new or different behavior/thinking and is visible to others.
To repent allows you to remain in right relationship with God and with other people. That is why it is important for husbands and wives to say I'm sorry.
Over the next 3 days repent daily to God and one another about past hurts and offenses.
