Why You Started Your Business In The First Place
By Audrey Bell-Kearney
Hello everyone.
I get a lot of emails from people who are having problems in their business. Right now we are going through tough economic times. With the rise in gas prices, the fall of real estate and the constant increases in taxes, it's no wonder so many of us are asking ourselves "what am I doing trying to run this business when I am in such a financial mess. If you are saying this, then I say to "why did you start your business in the first place? What I mean by that is that you must remember why you started in the first place. You have to remember to stay focused even though times are tough. You have to look at your business and see where you can make some changes that will help you grow the business. Think outside of the box. You must be creative. Remember that there are networking events in almost every state across the country, so get out there and meet new people and seek out new ideas to help you stay afloat through these tough times. Networking is really helpful especially when you are feeling alone and stuck. Trust me when I tell you that when you get around positive people who are moving and not standing still you will want to do the same because you will be motivated to move.
If your cash flow is low ask friends, family and business associates for referrals. Go online and find out new cheap ways to connect to new clients. Go back to your previous clients to check in on them to see how they are doing and if you could help them with anything else. Start doing your own newsletter just like the one you are reading right now. Stay in contact with your peers and possible customers.
Most of all Remember Why You Started Your Business In The First Place!
Until Next Time
Much Success
Audrey
