I hope that your new year is off to a good start...
My name is Diane Martin, I need your help. I am writing you because we are putting together a free event to help encourage and uplift individuals who have been affected by unemployment, poverty, a recent loss of a love one, etc. Everyone is going through something and people are feeling lost and helpless. The name of the event is, "You are not alone (Speak Purpose, Speak Power, & Speak Freedom )." We just want to bring together everyone to celebrate life and let them see that there are others who are going through the same thing and that it's going to be okay.

We need donations of school supplies, children's books, self-help/motivational books, marketing materials, etc. Your donation will be given to a family who needs it. We will need everything before Feb. 10, 2010. We are looking for performers and speakers who will donate their time as well. Please email me off-loop to discuss.
