As a published songwriter and writer/editor for her church newsletter, she has embarked upon her first published literary work "Content...Right Where I Am". Joy's testimony is one of courage and strength.
While in college, she was date raped and subsequently decided to drop out of school. In addition to varying health issues alongside the stressers of living out of the will of God, she began to feel like a failure and fell into a deep depression. Through her salvation God has restored and healed and has allowed Joy to become a bold witness for Christ while utilizing all of her gifts and talents to his glory.
